Dugong and Seagrass Hub
The Dugong & Seagrass Hub is a global platform for dugong and seagrass conservation practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and coastal communities. Coordinated and managed by the Secretariat of the Dugong MOU, the Hub was initially established through the Seagrass Ecosystem Services (SES) Project, an initiative funded by the German government's International Climate Initiative (IKI), to support the conservation of seagrass meadows, biodiversity, and coastal livelihoods across key Indo-Pacific range states.
The Hub now operates as a permanent and scalable knowledge-sharing platform, serving as an open-access repository of peer-reviewed publications, technical resources, practical toolkits, project information, and lessons learned. By connecting stakeholders across dugong and seagrass range states, it facilitates knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the dissemination of best-practices for conservation and sustainable management.
