Documentary Film: Community-based Dugong Tracking in Northern Australia

We are pleased to share this short documentary of community-based dugong tracking with permission from the Li-Anthawirriyarra Sea Rangers in Australia’s Northern Territory. Our Dugong MOU Technical Advisor Dr. Chris Cleguer has been working with local communities and the Li-Anthawirriyarra Sea Rangers in Yanyuwa saltwater country to track dugongs and better estimate the population size.
